Please Note: Though plastic wood to wood joints have a better balance and more action,
only cues with stainless steel joints have interchangeable shafts without a lip.
Plastic and Wood joint sizes vary (Viking, McDermott, Meucci and Pechauer, etc),
due to the sanding and finishing process by virtue that they are softer material. Nevertheless, most customers are happy with the fit.

ViKORE Performance Shaft Technology

ViKORE center core is set inside Michigan hard rock maple. Viking bores out the front of the shaft and replaces some of the maple with this lighter core material, reducing front‑end mass so the cue deflects the cue ball less and transfers more energy straight through the shot.

Inside the shaft are Viking Softouch® dampeners – one behind the core and another under the ferrule – which soak up excess vibration and buzz. That gives you a smoother, more solid feel, clearer feedback and better speed control, especially on power strokes.

The front end is finished with Viking’s indestructible SUPER ferrule and a Tiger Everest laminated cue tip, so you get a tough, long‑lasting contact point with the grip and spin of a premium layered tip.
