The Viking Motore MT0804 is built for players who like a fast, flowing stroke and a clean, wrapless feel. The cue starts with premium Birdseye maple finished in a warm khaki stain, then loads the forearm and sleeve with 40 black (IMA) and white premium pearl inlays, giving it a high‑end custom look without being flashy. With no wrap, the handle shows off the wood grain and gives you direct contact with the cue for a very connected feel.
Under the hood, the MT0804 is all about control and accuracy. It’s paired with a ViKORE performance shaft made from hard rock maple aged about five years, turned 9–11 times over 18–24 months to stay straight. The shaft carries a Tiger Everest laminated tip on a Viking SUPER ferrule, so you get a solid hit, long‑lasting ferrule and a premium layered tip that holds shape while still grabbing the cue ball.
Like all Viking cues, the MT0804 also includes the Viking Precision Weight Bolt System, letting you change the overall cue weight (typically 18–21 oz) using stackable bolts in the butt. You can choose the weight that feels right without changing the way the cue is built. A Hustler‑style flat‑faced joint with a stainless 5/16 quick‑release pin gives you a rock‑solid connection and quick setup, and the whole cue is sealed in an ultra‑violet urethane 3‑coat finish for long‑term protection.
Every Viking Motore MT0804 is 100% made in the USA and backed by Viking’s lifetime warranty that includes warpage, so you’re not just buying a showpiece—you’re getting a serious player’s cue you can rely on for years.
Note: Beginning in 2024, all Viking cue models feature a slimmer butt taper — 1.250 inches compared to the previous 1.295 inches. This new profile has quickly become the more popular choice, offering players a more comfortable grip and enhanced stroke control.
ViKORE Performance Shaft Technology

The ViKORE shaft on the MT0804 is built around a lighter ViKORE center core set inside Michigan hard rock maple. Viking bores out the front of the shaft and replaces some of the maple with this lighter core material, reducing front‑end mass so the cue deflects the cue ball less and transfers more energy straight through the shot.
Inside the shaft are Viking Softouch® dampeners – one behind the core and another under the ferrule – which soak up excess vibration and buzz. That gives you a smoother, more solid feel, clearer feedback and better speed control, especially on power strokes.
The front end is finished with Viking’s indestructible SUPER ferrule and a Tiger Everest laminated cue tip, so you get a tough, long‑lasting contact point with the grip and spin of a premium layered tip.
Viking cues also include a Lifetime Warranty (warpage included). Register your cue here: Viking Lifetime Warranty & Registration .
