The Pechauer P22-R is another stunning model from Pechauer's Pro Series (R) line, handcrafted with exceptional care in Green Bay, Wisconsin, by a family-run brand that's been producing top-quality American cues since 1961.

This cue emphasizes clean, sophisticated elegance with premium materials and precise detailing for serious players. showcases no-stain figured maple with dramatic black & white malachite point and inlay work, complemented by pearl diamond accents at the trim rings and matching decorative details. It’s a premium, high-contrast look that stands out in the Pro Series lineup.

It features a no-stain (natural) figured maple forearm and butt sleeve, showcasing the beautiful, light-toned grain and subtle figuring of high-grade hard rock maple for a timeless, classic appearance that lets the wood's natural beauty shine through. The points are black and white malachite (or similar exotic gem-style accents in black/white contrasts), often framed or detailed for striking visual impact, with matching inlays extending into the butt sleeve for harmonious flow and added depth. Many configurations in this series are wrapless (no Irish linen or leather wrap), delivering a smooth, direct feel preferred by players who like unobstructed wood contact, though custom wrap options may be available. It comes standard with a Pechauer Jade Medium tip (a dependable layered medium for excellent grip, control, and english application), a 5/8-inch Juma ferrule, a 10-12 inch pro taper on the shaft, Pechauer's Speed JT piloted joint.

Outstanding Performance and Hit

The stock maple shaft provides a solid, feedback-rich feel with good consistency and low inherent deflection for its design. Players praise the balance, the "stiff yet responsive" hit, and the piloted joint's rock-solid connection that minimizes vibration. It has easy pairing to Pechauer's low-deflection upgrades (like Performance+ or Kielwood) for modern enhancements.

Superior Craftsmanship and Quality

Owners and players frequently praise the cues as "solid," "excellent," and among the best values in higher-end cues, with durable finishes that hold up for years (or even decades). If you're a serious player moving beyond entry-level cues, the P22-R offers pro-level performance, eye-catching style, and lasting quality that justifies the price for those who value precision American-made billiards gear.
