Important Condition Disclosure – Cosmetic Yellowing
- Cosmetic yellowing: This cue has yellowing caused by a chemical reaction in the spray lacquer/finish used during this production period. The yellowing developed while the cue was new dealer inventory and has been fully considered in the discounted price.
- Not vintage patina: Some sellers may describe similar yellowing as natural aging or “patina” associated with older Meucci cues. We do not believe that is an accurate description in this case. This cue is newer dealer inventory that developed premature yellowing from the finish itself.
- Very straight: This cue has been checked and is very straight. Because it has already aged in dealer inventory since 2023, it has also had time to stabilize rather than being freshly produced and immediately shipped.

About This Model
The BMC Casino-5 was originally marketed as a limited-edition Meucci design, featuring a casino-inspired theme with Joker card artwork, dice details, purple Paua Shell veneer accents, and a white-and-purple presentation. Later production continued the same overall design, but newer versions do not carry Bob Meucci’s original signature.

- Warranty Concerns: Meucci’s new ownership has implemented a policy that only covers performance-impacting or structural manufacturing defects, excluding cosmetic issues like premature yellowing, finish discoloration, fill imperfections, and similar visual flaws.
- Dealer Inventory Concern: Meucci has stated that its one-year warranty limitation applies even to new, unused cues that remain on dealer shelves. In other words, Meucci does not treat the warranty period as beginning when the retail customer purchases the cue from the dealer.
- Manufacturing Quality: Budget Billiards has observed multiple quality concerns with Meucci products from this period, including rapid yellowing, inconsistent veneer stains, cloudy or uneven Paua Shell veneer presentation, cosmetic defects, and improperly filled holes in plastic components. Meucci’s current warranty position does not address cosmetic defects of this nature.
- Paua Shell Veneer Disclosure: The decorative shell work on this cue is authentic Paua Shell veneer under casting. It should not be confused with thick, individually cut shell inlays. This style of construction was used on these Meucci designs to create a bright, decorative appearance under clear casting.

Return Policy
This cue may be returned under our posted return policy as long as it remains in the same condition in which it was received. Light chalking of the tip for a few practice shots is permitted under our return policy; however, the cue must not show signs of extended play, abuse, dents, scratches, alteration, or damage.
