This Meucci Gem-5 is a rare, never-produced cue from a short run that was originally planned to continue into a larger production—but it ended when the company changed hands. Only four Gem-5 cues were ever completed, and this is #2 out of the original 4 made.
Although the cue is engraved 2/250, that numbering reflects the original production plan—the series was discontinued and never went into full production. Only four were completed.
The design features an ivory-colored sleeve over a maple forearm with six imitation ivory points and genuine turquoise chip inlays throughout the forearm and butt sleeve. It’s finished in Meucci’s five-proof urethane coating, including the wrap, for the classic Meucci look and feel.
Important note about the points (as pictured): The point inlays on this cue were hand-inlaid using a pantograph process. During the final turning to finish size, a minor spacing variance was revealed at the bottom of the points. This is cosmetic only and is exactly why this cue remained in our inventory—it is being sold precisely as shown in the photos.
Pictured to the left and below is the actual cue you will receive.
