Meucci 21st Century-3 Pool Cue
The Meucci 21st Century-3 is an elaborately decorated cue featuring ivory-colored PVC over a maple core. The forearm and butt sleeve are accented with aluminum rings, black detailing, and numerous precisely arranged aluminum veneer blocks.
The ivory-colored PVC butt sleeve contains six recessed points made with brilliant blue Paua shell veneer casting. Each point is decorated with an intricate white scrimshaw-style design and framed by imitation ebony, aluminum, and black rings.
Four detailed white ring bands contain 24 individual aluminum square accents in each band, providing a total of 96 aluminum accents in the butt alone. Matching decorative work is carried into the shaft collar.
This cue includes a 29" Meucci Pro Shaft with a 14"–16" pro taper, traditional polycarbonate ferrule, 12.5mm UltraSkin Medium tip, and brass-threaded insert. It uses a flat-faced wood-to-wood joint with a 5/16 x 18 pin.
The cue is completed with a lacquer-coated natural Irish linen wrap and Meucci’s Everlock adjustable weight system.
Why Is This Cue Reduced From $1,225 to $875?
Budget Billiards is disclosing the condition of this cue plainly so the buyer understands exactly what is being purchased. This cue developed visible finish yellowing while it was still new.
Budget Billiards paid the full dealer price for this cue. The manufacturer did not replace it, accept its return, provide warranty coverage, or compensate us for the loss in value. We are therefore reducing the price by $350 rather than selling cosmetically affected inventory at its normal price.
Disclosed Cosmetic Condition
- Finish yellowing: The clear finish developed visible yellowing while the cue remained new and in our inventory.
- Appearance: The yellowing changes the appearance of the synthetic ivory-colored areas and other light-colored decorative components.
- Actual cue shown: The photographs show the actual cue and its present cosmetic condition.
- Structurally usable: The disclosed issue is cosmetic and does not prevent the cue from being used for play.
- Price reduction: The $425 discount reflects the cosmetic condition and the manufacturer’s refusal to accept responsibility for the cue while it was new.
The Manufacturer Declined Warranty Responsibility
The finish yellowing became apparent after the cue was purchased from the manufacturer. Although the cue was still new and had not been sold to an end user, Meucci did not recognize the condition as a defect requiring replacement or warranty coverage.
Meucci subsequently instructed dealers that defects must be identified and reported within 10 days of receipt for replacement consideration. Finish yellowing may not become visible during such a brief inspection period, particularly when a cue remains packaged or stored as new inventory.
That reporting deadline leaves the dealer financially responsible when a finish problem develops after the first 10 days—even though the cue has never been sold, chalked, or played.
Rather than pass this cue to a customer at its full $1,225 price without disclosure, Budget Billiards held it in inventory. We are now offering it for $875 so the buyer can decide whether the cosmetic yellowing is acceptable at a savings of $350.

In practical terms, Meucci’s current warranty position places the financial burden for a cosmetically defective decorative cue on the dealer—even when the dealer paid full price and the problem developed while the cue was still new.
What the Buyer Will Receive
The buyer will receive the exact cue shown in the photographs. Please enlarge and review every photograph carefully, paying particular attention to the color of the finish and the light-colored decorative areas.
The finish yellowing is disclosed in advance and is part of the cue’s present condition. It is the reason the cue has been reduced from $1,225 to $800.
By purchasing this cue, the buyer acknowledges that the disclosed yellowing and related color changes are visible cosmetic conditions and are reflected in the reduced price.
Budget Billiards Return Policy
Budget Billiards provides a 60-day return period. The cue may be returned as long as it remains in the same condition in which it was received, with no chalking, play wear, dents, dings, scratches, or other signs of use.
The disclosed finish yellowing shown in the photographs is not an undisclosed defect and should not be used as a reason for returning the cue after it has been chalked or played.
Manufacturer Warranty Disclaimer
The manufacturer declined warranty responsibility for the disclosed finish yellowing while this cue was still new. Buyers should not expect Meucci to provide warranty coverage, replacement, refinishing, or other compensation for the yellowing or related cosmetic appearance.
Any manufacturer warranty that might otherwise apply is limited to qualifying defects affecting structural integrity or performance. Cosmetic imperfections, finish yellowing, color changes, decorative variations, minor flaws, warpage, dings, and dents should not be expected to qualify for manufacturer warranty coverage.
Please purchase only after reviewing the actual photographs and all condition disclosures.
